Beth and her Class 2
Beth Cooper came to Truck School as she needed her HGV licence for a horse lorry. She booked her training and test before she had actually passed her theory tests. That's the confidence we like to see. Beth passed her theory tests and so the training was on. Beth lives a fair distance from the training yard and so it was a really early start for her each day in order to get to the training for 7am. Beth managed it each day and she took onboard her training. Beth did not pass

Class 2 pass for Stuart Morgan-Richards
Stuart came to Truck School as Bath and North East Somerset council placed him under our care for his training. After seeing Stuart through his theory and hazard perception tests, he was booked in for his practical driving course. Stuart has a full PCV licence and so the size of the vehicle was pretty familiar to him. Unfortunately though, he fluffed the first test. We were able to find Stuart a new test date but the truck he was training in was already booked out with a diff

100% FIRST TIME Mod 4 CPC test pass
Well done to Will Fisher who took and passed his Mod 4 CPC at the FIRST TIME attempt. Will is on day 2 of his Class 2 training and we had arranged for his CPC test to be during the practical driver training. So as the Truck was in Bristol, he was directed towards the test centre for his test. He was greeted by the examiner and proceeded to go through the questions and answers. At Truck School, we train to such a high standard that we boast to have NEVER had anyone fail this t

Double FIRST TIME pass for Kelly Parker
A huge congratulations to Kelly Parker who took both her class 2 driving test and her Mod 4 CPC today and PASSED both. Kelly came to Truck School back in January and although she didn't really need it, she took advantage of the January offer of gaining her CPC alongside her driving test at no extra charge. Unfortunately, Kelly was held up by the COVID lockdown and was unable to take her theory tests. However, as soon as she was able, she went in and even though she didn't exp

Rebecca passes class 2 FIRST TIME
Rebecca Holloway was today's entry to test. She started her training journey a short while ago when we arranged her medical appointment. Following her medical appointment, Rebecca sent off for her provisional HGV licence. Once that arrived back it was onto the theory and hazard perception tests. Again, by passing with flying colours, Rebecca was then eligible to take the practical training and test. Rebecca started her training from our base at the Mendip Shooting Ground at a

FIRST TIME pass for Sarah Jayne
Huge congratulations to Sarah Jane Eyles who took and passed her car and trailer test today. She came to Mendip Training and Truck School and we managed to get her in for a test today but the training was on Friday. We normally do the training one day following the other but there was just no space to do that. Sarah Jayne agreed that she would train on Friday and then have the weekend to soak it all in for return this morning to freshen up in prep for the test at around 10.30

FIRST TIME pass for William Sansom
William Sansom came to Truck School to complete his Mod 4 CPC test today. This was the FIRST TIME attempt at the test for William and as per normal, the training is of such a high standard that we have still maintained the 100% pass rate that we have had now for many years. The Mod 4 CPC test is a practical demonstration of the drivers ability to carry out vehicle checks and also visual checks for illegal immigration. It also tests the driver to know the proper safe procedure
