Saffron passed her Automatic driving test today
Saffron Baxter has been learning to drive with our trainer, Duncan. He usually trains in the HGV lorries but in the afternoons and when the trucks aren't out, you'll find him in his automatic transmission driving school car. Saffron wanted to learn in an auto, so we helped her out. Saffron completed a mock test with our company founder and her driving was of really good standard on that. So off to test she went. Unfortunately, Saffron was driving a little too fast on a dual c

FIRST TIME car test pass for Imogen
Imogen Young took and passed her car driving test today at her FIRST TIME attempt. Imogen started her driving journey a while ago and after a short break from driving, she took an intensive course with another driving school. Unfortunately, they didn't take Imogen to test after the full amount of training and so she took another break from driving. On returning to driving, she decided to go with Mendip Training Centre and we could already see that her driving was up to a good

FIRST TIME car and trailer test pass
A huge congratulations to Thomas for passing his car and trailer test today at the FIRST TIME attempt. Thomas' company paid for this training and they wanted to use their own vehicle for the training and test. We asked for them to ensure the electrics worked for the trailer, for them to bring a matching rear number plate for use on our trailer and also to ensure the vehicle was cleaned for COVID reasons. Well, the one thing we didn't count on was the vehicle having a european

FIRST TIME mod 4 CPC test
Today, James took and passed his Mod 4 CPC test. However, this almost didn't happen at all. James arrived this morning for a final bit of training to follow up from yesterday but he had not brought his driving licence with him. We suggested that he hot-footed it off home to get the licence and we would meet him in a lay-by, close to the test centre. Getting there just in time, James went into the test centre and took the test. A little shaken from the rush but a pass nonethel

A FIRST TIME pass for William
William Coomes took and passed his car driving test today at his FIRST TIME attempt. A great drive with only gaining three faults throughout the test. This just shows the high standard our trainers teach to. Our candidates pass with very few faults at all. Well done William.

No photo for a FIRST TIME pass
Mike Chant took and passed his car driving test today. Mike was another driving test candidate affected by the COVID lockdowns. He had a test cancelled and a new date was given. Mike was able to find a cancellation date but unfortunately, his trainer, Paul could not attend the test as he was already booked at another test. So a colleague stepped in to assist in the final lot of driving lessons and attending the test. Many thanks to Kate Shakespeare for helping us and Mike at
FIRST TIME pass - no photo
Maisie Tibbs took and passed her driving test at the FIRST TIME attempt today with our trainer, Paul. This is becoming the normal type of story at the moment as Maisie has missed lots of lessons due to COVID lockdowns. She also had a test cancelled because of the pandemic. Today, she arrived with our trainer to the test centre and wore her mask as requested by the examiners. She signed on the dotted line and off she went with the examiner only to return with a test PASS certi
