Adam Morris passed class2 FIRST TIME
Well done to Adam Morris who passed his class 2 driving test and his Mod 4 CPC test FIRST TIME. Adam took his time to get through the theory tests but passed those FIRST TIME and so the pressure was on for the practical element. After a rocky start, Adam got to grips with the lorry and flew through the reversing test and his Mod 4 CPC, scoring the full 100%. James grabs a FIRST TIME pass
Despite his nerves, James Hardwell took and passed his 3A reversing test, his mod 4 CPC AND his 3B driving test all on the FIRST TIME attempt. James works for Chappel and Jenkins and they put him forwards for his class 2 training so he can upgrade from driving their vans to driving a class 2 lorry. Steve Austin passes class 1 FIRST TIME
Steve has taken a few test with us. First, he did his C1+E, then fairly recently, he went through his C class and now he showed his skills with the C+E test. Steve has passed all of these tests at the FIRST TIME attempt and so we are really proud to show his pic ture in our wall of fame. Safe driving Steve.
William Weatherill passes class 1 FIRST TIME
Huge congrats to William Weatherill who passed his class 1 driving test FIRST TIME. The reverse and uncoupling test is now split from the main driving test. William passed that FIRST TIME and so he could move on to the main part of showing the examiner his driving skills. On returning to the test centre, the examiner handed over the blue pass certificate and William can now join the big boys in driving articulated lorries, class 1.
Ashley Robinson passes his class 2
Ashley Robinson has been learning to drive an HGV recently and we can report that he has passed the practical driving test. Ashley passed his mod 4 CPC and the reversing exercise FIRST TIME. The reverse has recently been split from the main driving part of the test. This meant that when he attended the practical test, all he needed to do was show the examiner that he could handle the 18t wagon around the Bristol roads. FIRST TIME driving test pass for Lucas
Well done to Lucas Purnell who took and passed his driving test this week despite a few cancellations by DVSA. We had a test booked for Lucas for this Friday at 7.13am... We did not think that would go ahead as it would more than likely be dark for the test but we stuck by it. On Monday, we received an email saying it would now be 15.45 on the same day.
