FIRST TIME class 2 test pass for Adnan
Adnan Camdzic came to us as his employer, BM Steel, wanted him to help with their deliveries. Adnan has gone through the whole process managed by us at Truck School from his medical right through to today when he passed his driving test. Adnan passed his theory tests and so we booked him in for his practical driving. He was so good with the reverse that we put him in for the reverse test on day 2. We normally do this on day 3 but he was so goos, we thought - why wait? He pass

FIRST TIME artic pass for Krzyzstof
Krzyzstof took and passed his class 1 HGV test today at the FIRST TIME attempt. He had taken advantage of the new legislation allowing drivers to bypass the class 2 test as he wanted the class 1 licence. We do not feel it is safe just to put people straight into the artic, so Krzyzstof took the class 2 training course first. He then progressed properly into the class 1 and he did such a good job that he passed his reverse and uncoupling test yesterday FIRST TIME and he also p

Erica passes class 2 FIRST TIME
Huge congratulations to the most nervous candidate we have had for a while. Erica took and passed her theory tests and passed those. So it was on to the practical driver training. Erica was very very nervous in the lorry but over the course, she familiarised herself with the larger vehicle and nailed the reversing. The CPC questions were hard for rica to remember but not only did she pass the reverse test FIRST TIME on Monday, she also took her Mod 4 CPC test and passed that

FIRST TIME artic pass
Harry Brean needed his class 1 licence for a new job that he started late last year. He took and passed his theory tests first time and so the race was on to get him in for his training and test. Even though the rules have changed and you can now go straight into the artic, without first taking the rigid lorry test, we don't feel that is the safest thing to do. SO we saw Harry for some training in the rigid lorry first. Harry has experience in driving larger vehicles as he is

Class 2 Pass
Well done to William Brown who took and passed his class 2 test today. He passed in the chilly Bristol weather just in time as on the way home, the lorry blew a coolant pipe and needed recovery. Nothing like passing in the nick of time. Now the lorry is all fixed and William is home all ready for his new life as an HGV driver. Well done Will.

Ellen passes class 2 FIRST TIME
Nervous Ellen Davis took and passed her class 2 driving test today at the FIRST TIME attempt. Ellen was nervous, even though she passed her reverse test yesterday FIRST TIME and her CPC test too, FIRST TIME with a full 100% score...... Really, there was no need to be nervous. Ellen has listened and reacted to all of her training and did such a good job during her drive that the examiner could only find one driver fault to record. Ellen had previously taken her car and trailer

Steve Lester passes class 1 FIRST TIME
Steve Lester is a bus enthusiast and a well seasoned MOT tester. He really knows his stuff and he has a wealth of experience in driving larger vehicles.. However, he did not hold the artic (C+E) entitlement until today. Steve passed his theory and hazard perception tests FIRST Time a short while ago and so started his practical training on Thursday. After 2 full days with Duncan, bad news came as Duncan had COVID. Luckily, Steve had not contracted it and so we continued the t

Tom Jones passes FIRST TIME
Tom Jones works with Mack Wholesale. They work from the fruit market in Bristol and they wanted one of their team to train to drive the class 2. So we got started with the training. Tom had already passed the medical and was doing the theory tests. As soon as hey were passed, Tom made it onto the diary for the practical training. We were able to incorporate the CPC training into the driver training, which saved the company money. Although we are accredited to deliver the 3A m

FIRST TIME artic driving test pass
Clive Chapman passed his class 2 with Truck School just a little while ago. Literally as soon as his licence came back after that, he was on the emails asking to be booked in for his class 1. The training started on Thursday and the reverse was not quite as easy as he was expecting. By Monday, he had the reverse and the uncoupling almost perfect and so he went into the test centre for the now separated 3A manoeuvres test. He passed that and so today, he was able to go forward
