Seb Noad passes class 2 FIRST TIME
Seb Noad of SN Scaffolding took and passed his class 2 test today at the FIRST TIME attempt. Seb has had a good few sessions with our trainer, Su and they have had a laugh while out training. This is paramount to learning as if you're not having fun, you are not likely to learn anything. Seb needed to slow down!! That was clear from the start. However, he listened to Su and when it came to the test, he performed brilliantly. The examiner only faulted Seb twice during the hour

Corey passes class 2 with no faults
Corey Paul drives concrete pumps for work. A strange rule allows them to drive larger lorries on the road with their car licence as the pumps are classed as 'plant vehicles'. So driving the larger vehicles was not new to Corey. However, he did need to get back into the swing of driving properly for his test. Corey listened well and he only needed 3 practice goes at the reverse manoeuvre before taking that test. He was given his reverse certificate by our accredited examiner.

FIRST TIME class 1 test pass for Dan
Dan Osborne came to Truck School a few years ago to complete his class 2 training and test. Since then, he has been doing this and that but the opportunity came up for him to drive a recovery lorry, which means he will be needing his C+E licence. So Dan came in for his day 1 of training and straight away, we could see that Dan would need very little training for the reverse and uncoupling. So we completed that test on day 1 for his so that it was just the driving to concentra

Carl nails it for his class 1 test pass today
Carl Edwards took our Accelerated car to artic course. He went through all of his theory tests and then on to the class 2 training. Even though he could legally miss out the class 2 test, we still feel it is good to do the course to better prepare you for the jump up to the artic. Carl passed his Mod 4 CPC and then his reverse test. We are accredited to deliver the reverse manoeuvre test ourselves and Carl showed he had the knowledge and competence to make the lorry go backwa

Christian Passes in time for camping
Christian Thomas took and passed his class 2 test last week. He came to Truck School after completing a course with another training school paid for by his work place. Unfortunately, a roundabout go the better of him and he was unsuccessful. So on to the Bristol Roundabouts for training before his test with us. He came with his reverse certificate already done so it was just a case of doing everything right for the examiner. A blue pass certificate was handed over and Christi

Morgan passes FIRST TIME
Morgan Rolli, the third of the Rolli brothers who run R4 Scaffolding, took and passed his class 2 test today at the FIRST TIME attempt. Morgan took and passed his reverse test on Friday and so Monday and Tuesday, they could knuckle down to the driving practice. I think it is fair to say that the nerves kicked in this morning as we had a message from Su, Morgan's trainer, saying that it had all fallen apart this morning... BUT he got it back together for the hour long test and

FIRST TIME Class 2 test pass
Matthew Lester took and passed his class 2 test today at the FIRST TIME attempt. Matthew works for Arthur David, a fruit and veg wholesaler. They are putting a couple of the workforce through their class 2 training and test to aid with the deliveries they have to make. Matthew's colleague passed just last week with full 100% score on the CPC and a clean sheet perfect drive on the practical test. So the pressure was on. Matthew did indeed, score 100% on the CPC mod 4 test and

Allen passes his class 2 test in style
Well done to Allen Tucker who took and passed his class 2 driving test. Allen was a little stumped by the theory tests, however, with determination, he got through and so it was on to the driver training and test. Allen came in for a Saturday afternoon test and the examiner was in good spirits. He awarded Allen his blue test pass certificate and Allen was really pleased. Allen now wants to come back and do the class 1 test so we look forwards to seeing you soon.

FIRST TIME class 2 test pass
Matthew White works with Arthur David, a fruit and veg wholesaler in Somerset. They have put Matthew forwards, along with some of his colleagues for their class 2 training and test so they can upgrade from van deliveries to lorry deliveries. This will help with driver absences as they can become relief drivers if needed. Matthew flew through his theory tests and so came along for his practical training. He was under the instruction of Su, our highly experienced trainer, who s

FIRST TIME artic pass
Holly Barnaby took and passed her class 1, Artic test at the FIRST TIME attempt. Holly passed her rigid test with Truck School a couple of years ago and she passed that with no faults at all. So the pressure was on to pass the artic FIRST TIME, with a similar result. We are now accredited to deliver the reverse part of the qualifying process ourselves and Holly nailed that test FIRST TIME. Armed with her 3A reverse manoeuvres certificate, Holly attended her driving test. She
