Harry Hoskins was wasting some time this week on face book and he saw that we had a last minute late cancellation test available.
Harry was able to train at late notice and so he booked in to come for Thursday. Harry is a mechanic and so he has quite a bit of experience in towing. He also has an interest in older classic cars. He has towed before to classic car shows with his dad as supervising driver but this was now needing to be done 'properly'.
Harry could reverse the trailer without problem.. All that was needed was a few more observations to make the reversing safe.
The uncoupling procedure was new to Harry as in his previous experience, Harry had not completed the procedure in the routine required for test. However, after being shown once, Harry nailed it.
Anna, our female car and trailer instructor took Harry out for his driver training in and around the test area and he finished the day with just some brushing up needed on the multi laned roundabouts.
On Friday, Harry arrived for a small amount of refreshing in the reverse and uncoupling and then Carlie, our other female instructor took Harry on to go over the multi laned roundabouts and to attend his test.
Harry returned to the Truck School and Belt Up Yard with a pass certificate in hand. ANOTHER FIRST TIME test pass for Belt Up and a GREAT result for Harry.
