Today, we had a very nervous, Karla arrive for her last minute training before setting off for the test centre.
Karla came to Belt Up to gain her car and trailer licence as part of her role as a scout leader. There was added pressure for her as her scout members' families had clubbed together to help fund the training and test. From the onset, Karla had told us that it was all going to be a disaster and that she was likely to fail the test. However, trainer, Carlie did not listen to that negativity and continued with her great training.
Mike took over this morning and went through the reverse, the un couple and re couple procedure and then set off for the test centre. The reverse went in without a problem and the uncoupling went well too. Just the drive to go.. Not too bad so far, for what was going to be a complete disaster...
Upon returning to the test centre, the examiner gave a small debrief based around correct signalling but issues a pass certificate to Karla.
Well done indeed.
