FIRST TIME car and trailer test pass

Congratulations to Sam Pain from Trowbridge, who works for Hinton rescue as he took and passed his car and trailer test today at the FIRST TIME attempt.

Sam was booked in by the office for the 2 day training as he needed the towing licence for his recovery work. He was able to complete the reversing exercise without much help as he already had some experience in this. We needed to refresh his knowledge of the un coupling and re coupling procedure and then a little brush up on his driving skills.

This morning, we planned for Sam to arrive between 7 and 7.30 for his 9.50am test. At 8.10, Sam was still not with us. Panic was starting to set in but Sam arrived with the excuse of leaving his driving licence at home. He nearly got to the yard before realising but at least he did realise. He returned home to get the licence.

Off to test and Sam did such a good job that he passed the test and is now a holder of a full UK B+E driving licence. Best not leave that at home!!
