A great artic test pass for Curtis

Curtis Buffey took and passed his class 1 driving test today in Bristol Kingswood.

Curtis came to Truck School and Mendip Training Centre for his class 2 test a while ago and now felt he could upgrade to class 1. There is no theory test to complete since he had passed his class 2 test and so it was straight into the practical training. Unfortunately on day 1 of his course, the clutch decided to go on the truck so we had to postpone the driving course and test.

So a few weeks later, Curtis returned to complete the training course. He smashed the reverse manoeuvres test and so spent the rest of the course learning new road positioning and procedures for the slightly longer truck.

Today was the driving test and although intense heat was forecast, the morning air was reasonable and gave a comfortable drive. The examiner was pleased with the drive and managed to find just 2 driver faults, both of which, Curtis was aware of for the debrief.

A blue driving test pass certificate was handed over and Curtis returned to the yard for the pass photo.

Onto bigger and better things now for Curtis. Well done.
