Steve Lester passes class 1 FIRST TIME

Steve Lester is a bus enthusiast and a well seasoned MOT tester. He really knows his stuff and he has a wealth of experience in driving larger vehicles.. However, he did not hold the artic (C+E) entitlement until today.

Steve passed his theory and hazard perception tests FIRST Time a short while ago and so started his practical training on Thursday. After 2 full days with Duncan, bad news came as Duncan had COVID. Luckily, Steve had not contracted it and so we continued the training without Duncan. Monday saw Steve pass his 3A reverse and uncoupling test, which we are accredited to deliver on behalf of DVSA. So training continued and the day finally arrived for the driving test.

Steve was really nervous as he went into the test. After not taking a test since his bus test, he was a little apprehensive. No need to be though as he showed the examiner exactly what Duncan and we had taught him. This was such a good drive that the examiner could not find any fault with Steve's driving at all. A complete clean drive. Well done!
